Bento chair and table for One Nordic Furniture Company
Published on October 28, 2013
The Bento chair for One Nordic Furniture Company combines the playfulness of mechanical toys and the functionality of Japanese lunch boxes. The broad legs are a wink at the tradition of bending wood, but at the same time it’s a bit bold.
All Bento products are shipped in semi-flat boxes in order to ease global transportation and save storage space. Once at you door-step, you can easily assemble the chair in just four simple steps. No tools or manuals needed.
The first edition of the Bento chair and table was numbered and signed by the designers. 100 black chairs and 50 clack sofa tables were available for pre-ordering at One Nordic Furniture Company.
The Bento table is the second product in the Bento series. The table is available in three sizes, dinner table, kitchen table and coffee table.
The legs can be detached and reattached in just a few seconds, which makes the table easy to transport and carry. No bolts or screws, just a belt buckle mechanism that puts the legs in place.
