Energy Artefacts is a collection of objects made with an idea of saving material waste

Material waste is something that effects all industries and leaves a lasting effect on the planet. This project is a collaboration with TED textile company and Chelsea College of Art and Design, students chose one or two TED principles to focus on – and come up with a new sustainable method for design using this principle.

Ototo meets ECAL – A workshop with Mark McKeague (Dentaku)

Sound production has never been more accessible, it’s now possible to make music on everyday computers, smartphones and tablets. The processes that generate the sounds are invisible inside these black boxes, and the traditional link between the action and the result from acoustic instruments is lost to both the performer and audience.

The Iceland Whale Bone Project by ECAL

The Iceland Whale Bone Project” offers experimental research based on bones of beached whales collected by ECAL Product Design Master students. This work was initiated on the occasion of a workshop in Iceland with designer Brynjar Sigurðarson.
