Interieur Awards Objects 2016. Create a new object that is relevant to the living environment
Published on November 20, 2015
The focus of the Interieur Awards 2016 is on our living environment. Our habitat takes central place in this year’s competition.
Have you recently designed a new object that might be relevant to the living environment? We are looking for objects which help us to bring cohesion in a space. We are keen to explore the impact of new materials and technologies on such objects, and how they can have a transforming influence. Also how new potential can be achieved with traditional materials. And potentially how objects work in or with the internet of things.
Every object that fits into a living environment is allowed in the competition, whether it is aimed at general use or developed with a particular niche market in mind.
Exclusively online at www.interieur.be/awards
The required elements which must be delivered are as follows:
1. Participant’s personal data.
2. A text of minimum 200 and maximum 500 words, written in English, fully explaining the project’s concept and specifying the object’s dimensions and weight.
3. Minimum 3 and maximum 5 images of the object. Images to be provided as jpg files, max. 5 Mb each.
4. One (1) poster in pdf format, size DIN-A1 (59.4 x 84.1 cm exactly), either landscape or portrait, visually presenting and explaining the entire concept to the jury.
The entry fee is 125 € per project. Payments must be made no later than April 30th, 2016. Payments are possible with creditcards (Visa & Mastercard) online.
