How do different wood species react to immersion in red pigment? How does colouring influence the pattern of woods, and to what extent will the material affect the outcome? Following through on hers colourful experiments with textile and ceramics, they arranged an encounter between red pigment and wood to find the answers to those questions.
This lead to a range of samples in various shades of red. The experimentally dyed oak, ash, yellow poplar and mahogany wood can now be transformed into side tables. And upon request of other species. Pick your colour, choose your wood, and have your own customized piece.
