Mangos, a pop and graphic foam basket
Fully thought out, produced and finalized at Krux Amsterdam, each “Mangos” fruti basket was laser-cut in large plates of colored polyurethane foam and then assembled by hand by François Dumas.

Today we present Collection by Casper Tolhuisen. The food project is based on the creation of a set of tools in order to imitate the mass production processes and experiment with new ways to cook food. Thus, as it can be seen, the main focuses of it are both experimentation and design process.
Can the sound of a roaring lion or the movement of your child’s first steps be rendered in shapes? Bram Amendt has designed Life – Patterns – Objects: an interactive installation that cuts out shapes dictated by sounds or moving images. The user supplies a video that’s meaningful to them, which in turn will be transformed into a physical shape.
Secret Signals is a project where the result is a short movie is made for a plant study at the University of Amsterdam, they research the way defense mechanisms of plants work. The movie shows one of their findings: a plant’s defense against a plague of mites

In the movie ” Forgotten memory” you step into the world of dementia. An invisible and hidden world is exposed. I wonder how daily things look like with the view of a demented person. How do they experience their environment? What is a teapot if you don’t know what a teapot is?
“Respond” is an interactive coat rack, which moves when a coat is hung on it. It is an ingenious weight system, using precision carpentry and the element of surprise. After all, surprise arouses curiosity, and curiosity can lead you to the pleasure of understanding.
