Glass tableware, Chiara Andreatti

Published on December 20, 2013

Collection of glass tableware from a real ‘fusion’ between the craftsmanship of the blown glass and industrial precision of metal photoengraving. Thanks to the metals thermal properties, the nets are ‘dipped’ during the blowing on the bottom of each object, creating a contemporary graphisms game. Made for the Gallery Basile Arteco.

Chiara was born in Castelfranco Veneto (Italy) in 1981, after  having taken a university degree in Industrial Design at IED, in Milan in 2003 and having attended a master at Domus Academy (MI), she has worked with designers like Renato Montagner and Raffaella Mangiarotti.

Currently, since 2006, she works as a designer for studio Lissoni Associati (MI), following through, parallel freelance projects and working with companies like Reflex, Casamilano, Coin, Althea by Salese, CostiLab and Armani Jeans.
